Or stealing my breakfast.
Some mornings I like to get up early to do homework or catch up on reading before class. Often when I do this, I eat breakfast at my desk while Mr. Moggie gets ready for work and The Real Grey Moggie takes her first cat nap of the day at my feet. I'm doing homework, but sometimes there's a sweet little family moment squeezed in.
When I eat buttered toast at my desk, The Real Grey Moggie gets up out of her little cat bed under the desk and sniffs around trying to find that delicious smell. Sometimes she tries to sneak a little nibble...and a few months ago, I caught her doing this on camera.
On Wednesday night, she made her bravest food-stealing move yet. Mr. Moggie had plated a mache-asparagus-pistachio salad in order to take a photo for his blog. When he was done with the camera, and he had offered me the salad as a pre-dinner snack, The Real Grey Moggie moved in to claim the salad (or at least the cheese shavings) as her own. What a cute little sneak!
